- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Staff are friendly and helpful, but what's the point in even going when its a 3 week wait for an appointment? You have to predict when you are going to be ill. The only way to get one quicker is to show up within the first 10 minutes of them opening and book on the day, which is impossible if you have a full time job or have a condition which makes travelling very difficult. You can ring but you won't ever get through in time, by the time you get through, all of the appointments for the day will have gone. There are obviously far too many patients on the books to reasonably cope with. One of these days someone is going to come down with something major, not be able to get in to see a doctor and die as a result. Don't think it's the staff's fault either, it's all the government cuts crippling the nhs. I imagine this sort of thing is happening all across the country.by Every ManMarch 04, 2017
